National Landcare Project

< Back

The National Landcare Project was established with the aim of increasing the adoption of No-Till across Victoria

The main focus of the project is to promote the benefits of No-Till on soil health.

The project contains five focus paddocks:

  • Telangatuk

  • Kewell

  • Corack

  • Speed

  • Carwarp

Their time under the No-Till system varies, ranging from 1 year to 20+ years.

Each of the focus paddocks has had a complete soil analysis conducted on it to determine the physical and chemical properties.

These results have been presented to farmers and consultants at regional crop walks, using the focus paddocks as a tool to demonstrate the soil properties and discuss the benefits of No-Till.
